Greetings and Welcome to the Web Site of Irish Northern Aid

Irish Northern Aid is an American based membership organization that supports, through peaceful means, the establishment of a democratic 32-county Ireland.
The mission of Irish Northern Aid is to develop a broad coalition of supporters for Irish Unity through organizing and educating the public, our members, political leaders, and the media; to support the current Peace Process, including the full implementation of the Good Friday Agreement, which was endorsed by the vast majority of the Irish people; and to support a process of National reconciliation and equality for all the citizens of Ireland. In keeping with the principles of the 1916 Proclamation, membership to Irish Northern Aid is open to anyone who shares these values.

The Irish People Newspaper
The IRISH PEOPLE was a weekly newspaper which served as the "Voice of Irish Republicanism in America." Published by volunteers who supported an Irish Republican political analysis, the paper provided weekly reports and analysis of events in Ireland related to the struggle against British rule. It also served as a contemporary weekly record and organizer of Irish-American political activity in the United States during a crucial epoch. Those who wish to study historic events in Ireland and how such events were seen and influenced by Americans will find it an indispensable resource. Issues of the newspaper from 1972 to 2004 are available at the University Library.
